Hey hun, yeah i'm pretty much self taught - and did all my own self portraits just with a digital camera, not fancy one, but think the idea comes across just as well as any other professional ones
The newest ones were shot by photographer and proper lighting etc - and im trying to learn from him too - so it's a good experience!

Your works really great though - think you have to have a natural talent for it rather than something just learnt xxx
